INTRODUCTION
Professional Excellence Group (PEG), a nonpolitical forum (established in 2015) with the purpose of bringing together the engineering professionals on a platform aiming with an objective for building a better Pakistan through their contributions of Engineering Industry Stakeholders. Through this forum we intend to actively support the development of our engineers and our professions. PEG is being organized through a fresh membership drive and is operative under a charter and its rules of business. Membership is open to all stakeholders of Engineering Profession.

Young PEG Members
Professional Excellence Group constituted Professional Committees for Elevating Engineers Honor
Professional Development Advisory Committee
Objective:
- Encourage sharing of knowledge and best practices.
- To act as an advisory committee to the PEG on matters relating to professional development.
ToR / Tasks:
- To review and develop existing professional development policies for engineers at all career stages, ensuring that they meet the needs of PEG members and industry and take into account the effect of external influences eg Government policies; compatibility with the policies of partner institutions; Engineering Council and its successor bodies, or other regulatory body requirements.
- To ensure that the policies are formulated in such a way that they can be implemented and communicated cost effectively.
- To advise on products and services that PEG should provide to support professional development for all members, and monitor their effectiveness.
- To maintain links with other PEG committees and bodies to ensure effective communication, joint working and awareness of key issues across PEG
Stakeholder Coordination Committee
Objective:
- share good practice.
- promote cross-sector activity
- Act as a conduit for the Stake Holders to
- provide input to the PEG’s strategic direction
- promote sector focus in the business planning and budgeting process
- advise on risks to the delivery of the sector strategy

Young Professionals Committee
Objective::
- Encourage sharing of knowledge and best practices.
ToR / Tasks:
- Recommend to all appropriate stakeholders how best the PEG can meet the needs of Young professionals by providing YP resources and expertise for development of YP strategies
- Clearly identify and communicate with all stakeholders on a timely, consistent basis to enhance the brand of PEG YPs within the PEG and the wider engineering community
- Motivate, inspire and support active YPs in the regions to increase their active PEG engagement and effectiveness by sharing of ideas and best practice, engendering a culture of excellence
- Maintain a sound awareness and knowledge of the state of YP engagement across the regions and of the YP participants contributing to that engagement. Capture and share engagement best practice and provide support (where possible) to areas struggling to engage YPs
- Encourage Local Networks to participate in the PEG activities at various forums.
Awards & Prizes / Scholarships Committee
Objective::
- To review and develop the portfolio of PEG Achievement Awards / Scholarships available, on an annual basis
- To identify, evaluate and where appropriate support opportunities to create new Achievement awards
- To consider and make recommendations for the award of scholarships as per plan approved by the CMC and to make recommendations concerning the arrangements and criteria for these awards
ToR / Tasks:
- To consider the nominations and make recommendations for the PEG Achievement Medals and Certificates and to make recommendations concerning the arrangements and criteria for these awards and scholarships
Lecture / Talk Committee
Objective::
- To promote the image of the PEG and the profession through the planning of a high quality lecture series in accordance with PEG Strategy
- To take special responsibility for the arrangements for the lectures that form the Lecture Series
- advise on risks to the delivery of the sector strategy
- To work with the management committee to identify topics and speakers, consider any speaker proposal and nominate speakers for the Prestige Lecture series
- To consider any other related matters referred to the Lecture Committee by the BOG
- To keep abreast of the needs and expectations of the wider PEG membership and to seek to engage members in an effort to improve and develop the Prestige Lecture Series
ToR / Tasks:
- To consider all matters relevant to the PEG’s overall programme of lectures
- To work with the Management Committee on speakers and topics
- To report to the Management Committee
